Prevent Tick and Mosquito Bites

Prevent Tick and Mosquito Bites

It is around this time of year, every year, that we get a lot of questions and concerns about ticks and mosquitoes. For good reason. There are some serious diseases and illnesses that can be caused by them. However, statistically speaking, you are less likely to contract one than being involved in a car wreck on your way to the wilderness you enjoy.

Since there is so much anxiety about these two little pests, we like to give some preventative measures to avoid them along with some confidence to know you will be alright if you encounter them.

My latest foray into such education happened on The Survival Show Podcast. In this episode, Creek Stewart stopped in to discuss the topic along with David and myself. Between the three of us, we lay down an incredible amount of insight on how to avoid them, and what to do if you find them on you.

I wrote the blog piece, 5 Tips for Tick Prevention last year, as well as Ways, to Avoid Attracting Mosquitoes as well.

That is three resources available to you that will help you both avoid these little aggravations AND deal with them appropriately when they are unavoidable.
