Coming of Age, Wilderness Intensive

All cultures throughout world history have offered experiential development to help those who 13 years old and older, to advance into adulthood.
This is one of those opportunities, and there are only 5 slots total available.
In this course, we are going to effectively guide the participants in ways not found in any normal “camp” experience. This course will involve heavy doses of training both solo and as a collective to advance the students self-esteem, confidence and much more. This course will be especially useful to those students interested in a future in military, first responder, or similar high-stress profession.
It will include training in the following:
- Wilderness Survival
- Wilderness Navigation
- Physical Fitness
- Foraging for food
- Animal processing
- Critical thinking skills
- Team Building
- Leadership Development
This course will NOT be done in a physically abusive manner, but rather an intellectual one. We will teach the participants why and how this sort of training has been done throughout history for various cultures and teach them how to embrace hard circumstances with determination and a strong will.
This course will be led by Craig Caudill, (bio here). Mr. Caudill has is a certified high and low course challenge course facilitator. As such he has led groups from military special forces, law-enforcement special response teams, Fortune 500 corporations, and many more organizations seeking development of their teams and the individuals that comprise them. As director of NRS, Mr. Caudill has led various aspects of this training to military, federal law enforcement, state-level EMS and fire personnel, and thousands of civilians. His background and experience is unparalleled in this combination of training.
The class will be held near Winchester, KY. Exact location will be emailed to class participants prior to the course.
